Real prep.
Every floor gets a full grind, crack and pit repair, a moisture test, and a moisture barrier primer before any colour goes down. That's the difference between a floor that lasts fifteen winters and one that peels in two. It's also why we take two to four days instead of one.

Three coats plus flake: moisture barrier, epoxy base, polyaspartic top. Hot tires, road salt, gasoline, dropped tools and summer sun don't damage it.
Written warranty.
Every floor comes with a 5-year workmanship warranty. You can extend it to 15 years or lifetime. If it fails because of how we installed it, we come back and fix it.

Who's behind it
I grew up on concrete.
I'm Alex. I grew up in my family's concrete business, then spent seven years on project and maintenance work in the oil sands and a couple more in marketing. I started Vanta because I knew this trade, I had the resources, and I knew what people actually want from a garage. Not a coating. A space.
I've always needed a creative outlet, and this is it. Taking a dusty, greasy garage and turning it into a clean, good-looking room that changes how you use it is the part I love. It's also why I won't do it fast and cheap. If it has my name on it, it gets done properly.

Questions before you book
How long until I can use my garage again?+
The topcoat is dry to the touch in about two and a half hours and takes foot traffic at 8 hours, so you can walk on it the next morning. Park on it after 48 to 72 hours. Full cure is 5 days.
Do I have to empty the garage myself?+
Yes. Everything comes out before we arrive and goes back in after the floor cures. We don't move belongings, for liability reasons, and the floor has to be clear wall to wall. If you'd rather not find a place for everything, ask us and we'll have a storage container dropped in your driveway for the week.
What does the coating protect against?+
Road salt, snow melt and freeze-thaw. Hot tires, which lift cheaper coatings off the slab. Gasoline, antifreeze and motor oil, which have no effect on the topcoat even after 12 hours of contact. UV, so it won't yellow in the sun the way standard epoxy does. The topcoat is 100% solids with zero VOCs, so there's no lingering smell.
How long will it last?+
Every floor comes with a 5-year workmanship warranty, and you can extend it to 15 years or lifetime. The reason we can offer that is the prep. The concrete is ground, repaired and tested for moisture before anything goes down, and the primer bonds to concrete that other coatings peel off of. Floors fail at the bond, not the surface. That's where our time goes.
Why do you take two to four days when others do it in one?+
Day one is prep. Grinding, crack and pit repair, a moisture test, and a moisture barrier primer that needs its own cure before the base coat goes down. Then the base needs to set before the topcoat goes on. Most floors take two to four days depending on size and condition. One-day installs skip or rush those steps, and that's the floor you see peeling three winters later.
Will it be slippery?+
Any smooth floor is slick when it's wet. The flake gives the surface texture, and if you want more grip, we add an anti-slip aggregate to the topcoat. Tell us how you'll use the space and we'll match the texture to it.
